Gosh..should I?
Mom mentioned she would like a Burberry bag in her lifetime. She doesn't have an inkling on the differences between a Burberry Blue label and a Burberry London (former is exclusive to Japan and the latter is more classic and freaking ex). She told me,
"I like the cream colour one with checks on it. The other weird colours are ugly. I'll pass you about $400 to get one for me if you have any Japanese flights. That's how much my friends paid for their weird-coloured Burberry from Japan."
My dear mommy, I know you have no idea, but after hours of researching on the net, let me translate what you've said with what I've learnt - you ACTUALLY said,
"I like the classic Burberry London bag. The Burberry Blue label bags are ugly. You have to top up another $250 to get me that bag. My friends are all carrying Blue label bags."
Mother's Day is coming. My mom has been GREAT albeit her non-stop nagging n yakking. She has sacrificed and done ALOT for this family. During the days when we were more well-off, I bet she could have bought herself one, but didn't, in consideration for the family.
Now, I kinda have the financial ability to buy her the bag of her dreams. And my Milan flight is coming (tiny-weeny bit cheaper over there, I guess?). It would make her really happy. But I'm kinda saving up for my Taipei vacation and the financial crunch.....
So...what now...SHOULD I?
