I've learnt that the point of fasting 1 month before Hari Raya is abstinence. It means cleansing all the impurities (including dirty thoughts) from your body. Fasting doesn't only include fasting of food, but 'fasting' of sex too! Though i don't know whether abstaining from sex starts at sunrise and ends at sun set or not.

Assuming that it doesn't follow that timetable, it means Muslims can't have sex for ONE MONTH! So i was thinking, maybe after Ramadan period, there may be a baby boom. Just like there was a baby boom after WWII in America.

I'm NOT being racist or sth ya! (Must make my stand clear, if not i'll get charged n jailed!) In fact, i'm quite impressed with their determination and will. My Muslim classmates can sit with us during lunch and don't feel the temptation at all. Ya...and e rest of us kept forgeting they're fasting n kept offering food to them :S...
