That's Dakota w her sister Elle (also actress...DOES IT RUN IN E FAMILY?) She's 11 yr old, and she has acted in like trillions of movies (lightyears ahead of Our Fann Wong..Looks like different fates for different Fanns). Her latest movie is Hide and Seek and the upcoming Wars of the World. She has starred against many Hollywood bigshots and she never failed to steal their limelight (Ha, in my pt of view la.)
Fanning doesn't have the top-grade looks, but she has ace acting. She's been nominated for alot of awards and blah.
Fell in love with her WHILE watching I am Sam. It's a freaking nice movie that i dig so much. Love it so much tt i gotta intro to u pple~
Stars Sean Penn, Michelle Pfeiffer and of cuz, Dakota Fanning. It's about a father with the mentality of a 7yr old faced the problem of his child, Lucy, (at age 7) being taken away to foster home, as social care's afraid he is unable to take care of her (Dakota). So he got himself a lawyer (Pfeiffer) to fight e case to get her back. Yup, it's a heartwarming, tears-wrenching process.
That's Daddy (Sean Penn). Penn and Fanning's performance touched straight into my heart. So natural, so real. You can feel the emotions. The joy when they had fun, the pain when they were separated, the sympathy when a mentally challenged father go all out to get his daughter back. That's what makes it so painful to watch the show. So painful it pinches your heart.
I love this scene pretty much. Sam reads to Lucy. One day, he couldn't read most of the words in the book. He said, "I see your teacher gave you quite a difficult book to read.." It's a storybook for an 8yr old. She ended up reading to him. *wham* Deep impact~
come on dudes, rent it, buy it, d/l it, steal it! WATCH IT!
